BUILDING SERVICES
This module introduces the students about the services that are commonly provided in buildings, primarily cold and hot water supply, sewerage system, drainage and storm water management, electrical supply, fire protection systems, mechanical ventilation, air-conditioning system and mechanical transportation system with the references related to the local Acts and By-Laws of Malaysia.
CASE STUDY OF BUILDING SERVICES IN PUBLIC BUILDINGS
Project 1 focuses on the systems used in a multi-storey buildings involving public use. This group project comes with an individual components where each of us have to conduct a study on the services provided in the selected building. The data collected is then compiled into a form of a report.
APPLICATION OF BUILDING SERVICES
Project 2 emphasizes on the systems used in domestic sized buildings where we incorporate these systems into our own building. The outcome of this project requires presentation boards and a product catalogue.
